La CEO de Shangri-La insta a Hong Kong a aprovechar su base de turismo cultural

Kuok Hui Kwong, directora ejecutiva del grupo hotelero Shangri-La, afirmó que Hong Kong posee un enorme potencial para el turismo cultural como puente entre China continental y el resto del mundo.

Kuok Hui Kwong hizo estas declaraciones al South China Morning Post en una entrevista exclusiva para los medios de Hong Kong al margen del nuevo programa de festivales “Dragonbeat” de Shangri-La. Este se lanzó como parte de una nueva asociación de cinco años con el Campeonato Internacional de Botes de Dragón de Stanley.

“Todo el mundo sabe que Hong Kong es una ciudad internacional muy dinámica, pero al mismo tiempo es una ciudad internacional vibrante que realmente ha preservado gran parte de su cultura tradicional”, dijo Kuok.

Añadió que este posicionamiento otorga a la ciudad un “enorme potencial” para el turismo cultural, especialmente a medida que China continental crece como un destino popular entre los viajeros internacionales.
