Sindicatos de inquilinas exigen votar ya la regulación del alquiler de habitaciones

La Confederación de Sindicatos de Inquilinas ha pedido este lunes al PSOE y al Gobierno que lleven a votación la reforma de la Ley de Arrendamientos Urbanos para regular los alquileres de habitaciones y de temporada.

La confederación denuncia que la iniciativa permanece bloqueada en el Congreso desde hace dos años por el PSOE. El presidente Pedro Sánchez prometió en enero limitar los contratos de temporada para acabar con el fraude evidente.

Carme Arcarazo, portavoz de la confederación, declaró que es imprescindible aprobar la ley antes de que termine la legislatura. El sindicato ha iniciado una campaña de cartas dirigidas al presidente para presionar.

La propuesta presentada por Sumar, EH Bildu, ERC y el Grupo Mixto busca aplicar topes de precio en zonas tensionadas y convertir contratos temporales sin causa justificada en alquileres habituales. También prohíbe cobrar el IBI al inquilino y otros gastos encubiertos.
