Walton Goggins protagoniza el video de «Going Shopping» de The Strokes

El actor Walton Goggins aparece en el nuevo video musical del sencillo «Going Shopping» de The Strokes. El clip se inspira en un video clásico de Paul Simon.

El video hace un guiño directo a la pieza de 1986 de Paul Simon para «You Can Call Me Al», protagonizada por Chevy Chase. The Strokes señaló que conseguir a Goggins para el cameo era una apuesta difícil, pero aceptó de inmediato.

Goggins publicó en Instagram que «nunca tuvo la audacia de incluir algo así en su lista de deseos» y describió el próximo álbum como «malditamente especial». Añadió que ha estado escuchando el disco desde marzo.

«Going Shopping» es el sencillo principal de Reality Awaits, el primer álbum de la banda desde The New Abnormal, lanzado en 2020. El álbum tiene previsto su lanzamiento el 24 de julio a través de RCA, con una gira nacional programada para este verano.
