Matapos ang unang pagdinig sa umano'y suhulan at maling paggamit ng P612.5 milyong confidential funds ni Bise Presidente Sara Duterte, tututukan ng House committee on justice ang alegasyon ng hindi maipaliwanag na yaman sa susunod na pagdinig sa Abril 22. MANILA, Philippines — Nakumpleto na ng House committee on justice ang unang clarificatory hearing tungkol sa umano'y bribery at misuse ng P612.5 milyong confidential funds ni Bise Presidente Sara Duterte. Tututukan nito ang alegasyon ng hindi maipaliwanag na yaman sa pagdinig sa Abril 22, ayon kay committee chair at Batangas 2nd district Rep. Gerville Luistro.

"We intend to focus for the next hearing on the allegations of unexplained wealth and that is why the ombudsman, the SEC at ang BIR ay hindi hiniling sa hearing ngayon," ani Luistro sa press conference noong Martes ng gabi.

Ipinagtugon din ng komite ang mga motion upang subpoena ang Anti-Money Laundering Council (AMLC) at dating senador Antonio Trillanes IV para magpatotoo sa mga anomalous na transaksyon sa bangko mula 2006 hanggang 2025. Ayon naman kay House public accounts panel chair at Bicol Saro party-list Rep. Terry Ridon, tatalakayin ang SALN, ITR, bank transactions at detalye mula kay Trillanes.

Natigil ang subpoena sa mga flagged transactions ni Duterte at ng kanyang asawang si Manases Carpio dahil nakabatay ito sa SALN ng bise presidente. Sa pagdinig noong Martes, dumalo ang mga resource persons kabilang ang self-confessed bagman na si Ramil Madriaga, notary public nito, at kinatawan mula sa Commission on Audit, House records, Philippine Statistics Authority at National Bureau of Investigation.

Ayon sa impeachment complaints, nag-deposit si Duterte ng hindi bababa sa P111 milyon sa mga bangko sa Davao City at Metro Manila mula 2006 hanggang 2015, na hindi proporsyonal sa kanyang sweldo bilang dating vice mayor at mayor ng Davao City. Umakyat din ang kanyang net worth mula P13.8 milyon noong 2007 hanggang P44.8 milyon noong 2017, sa kabila ng taunang suweldo na mga P2 milyon lamang.
