Arzola propose de suspendre le transfert des écoles aux SLEP

La ministre de l'Éducation María Paz Arzola a avancé l'idée de suspendre le transfert des écoles municipales vers les Services locaux d'éducation publique (SLEP). La proposition vise à instaurer un système mixte et doit être soumise au Congrès.

La ministre a déclaré sur TVN que le ministère de l'Éducation travaille sur une proposition qui ne sera pas une solution unique pour tous les cas. L'objectif est de permettre à certaines municipalités de conserver l'administration de leurs écoles si elles remplissent certaines conditions.

Actuellement, 34 SLEP doivent recevoir les écoles de 175 municipalités entre 2027 et 2029. Arzola a noté que le but est d'évaluer des mesures pour améliorer le processus et éventuellement reporter les transferts dans certaines zones.

Des maires tels que Sebastián Sichel de Ñuñoa ont appelé à une action urgente pour suspendre les transferts, tandis que Rodrigo Wainraight de Puerto Montt s'est déclaré favorable à la poursuite du processus. D'autres responsables locaux ont salué la révision mais ont souligné la nécessité de ressources et de flexibilité.
