Arzola schlägt Stopp der Schulübertragungen an SLEP vor

Bildungsministerin María Paz Arzola hat die Idee ins Spiel gebracht, die Übertragung städtischer Schulen an die lokalen öffentlichen Bildungsdienste (SLEP) zu pausieren. Der Vorschlag zielt auf ein gemischtes System ab und muss vom Kongress genehmigt werden.

Die Ministerin erklärte auf TVN, dass das Bildungsministerium an einem Vorschlag arbeite, der keine Einheitslösung für alle Fälle sein werde. Das Ziel sei es, einigen Gemeinden die Verwaltung ihrer Schulen zu belassen, sofern sie bestimmte Anforderungen erfüllen.

Derzeit sollen zwischen 2027 und 2029 insgesamt 34 SLEP die Schulen von 175 Gemeinden übernehmen. Arzola merkte an, dass es darum gehe, Maßnahmen zur Verbesserung des Prozesses zu evaluieren und die Übertragungen in einigen Gebieten möglicherweise zu verschieben.

Bürgermeister wie Sebastián Sichel aus Ñuñoa forderten dringende Maßnahmen zur Aussetzung der Übertragungen, während Rodrigo Wainraight aus Puerto Montt seine Unterstützung für das weitere Vorgehen bekundete. Andere lokale Führungskräfte begrüßten die Überprüfung, betonten jedoch die Notwendigkeit von Ressourcen und Flexibilität.
