Jason Somerville rejoint Alpine en tant que directeur technique adjoint

L'ancien responsable de l'aérodynamique de la FIA, Jason Somerville, a officiellement pris ses nouvelles fonctions au sein de l'écurie de Formule 1 Alpine après avoir respecté six mois de clause de non-concurrence.

Somerville occupe le poste nouvellement créé de directeur technique adjoint et sera sous la responsabilité du directeur technique David Sanchez. Il retrouve chez Alpine le directeur général Steve Nielsen, avec qui il a travaillé par le passé à la FIA et au sein de la direction de la F1. Somerville occupait le poste de responsable de l'aérodynamique de la FIA depuis février 2022 et a contribué à l'élaboration du règlement 2026 de la discipline avant son départ.
