Le Minvu entame la démolition de logements à El Olivar

Le ministère du Logement et de l'Urbanisme a entamé vendredi la démolition de maisons présentant de graves défauts dans le secteur d'El Olivar à Viña del Mar. Cette mesure s'inscrit dans le cadre du plan de reconstruction faisant suite au méga-incendie de 2024.

Le ministère du Logement et de l'Urbanisme, dirigé par Iván Poduje, a commencé vendredi la démolition de quatre maisons à El Olivar. Le processus comprend également le début des travaux sur huit nouvelles habitations.

Le Seremi Marcelo Ruiz a déclaré que « démolir, c'est aussi protéger ». Il a ajouté que le plan global prévoit d'intervenir sur 170 maisons au cours des trois prochains mois.

L'entreprise Social Arquitectura a contesté la légalité de ces démolitions. Son avocate, Erika Maira, a affirmé que les maisons ne correspondent pas aux rapports du ministère et les a qualifiées d'« inutiles et absolument illégales ».

Le Minvu a répondu que les maisons présentent des défauts structurels et de sécurité. Il a indiqué que l'objectif est d'éviter de livrer des logements inhabitables aux familles sinistrées.
