Minvu inicia demolição de casas em El Olivar

O Ministério da Habitação e Urbanismo deu início na sexta-feira à demolição de casas com graves defeitos no setor de El Olivar, em Viña del Mar. A medida faz parte do plano de reconstrução após o mega-incêndio de 2024.

O Ministério da Habitação e Urbanismo, liderado por Iván Poduje, iniciou na sexta-feira a demolição de quatro casas em El Olivar. O processo também inclui o início das obras de oito novas residências.

O secretário regional ministerial (Seremi) Marcelo Ruiz afirmou que “demolir também é proteger”. Ele acrescentou que o plano geral envolve a intervenção em 170 casas ao longo de três meses.

A empresa Social Arquitectura questionou a legalidade das demolições. Sua advogada, Erika Maira, declarou que as casas não correspondem aos relatórios do ministério e as descreveu como “desnecessárias e absolutamente ilegais”.

O Minvu respondeu que as casas apresentam defeitos estruturais e de segurança. O órgão indicou que o objetivo é evitar a entrega de casas inabitáveis às famílias afetadas.
