L'entrepreneuse Patricia Armendáriz a critiqué sur LinkedIn la vente potentielle de La Casa de Toño pour plus de 400 millions de dollars, un montant qu'elle considère comme une sous-évaluation flagrante de l'entreprise.

Armendáriz a déclaré que ce chiffre correspond à huit fois les bénéfices ajustés et que la valeur réelle pourrait être le double ou le triple. Elle a souligné l'efficacité opérationnelle de la chaîne, la fidélité de sa clientèle et ses marges de rentabilité.

La Casa de Toño exploite 81 restaurants à Mexico et dans sa zone métropolitaine depuis sa fondation en 1985 par Antonio Campos. Aucun accord n'a été confirmé pour l'instant.
