Red Hot Chili Peppers vendent leur catalogue musical à Warner Music Group

Les Red Hot Chili Peppers ont vendu leur catalogue musical à Warner Music Group pour un montant supérieur à 300 millions de dollars. La transaction donne au label le contrôle sur tous les enregistrements originaux du groupe.

L'accord a été conclu vendredi et concerne les 13 albums studio du groupe, incluant les sorties depuis 1991, année où le groupe a signé avec Warner. Leur catalogue génère environ 26 millions de dollars par an et était proposé sur le marché à un prix proche de 350 millions de dollars.
