Ruto annonce un financement de 2,4 milliards de shillings pour des parcs industriels de comté

Le président William Ruto a annoncé un plan gouvernemental de 2,4 milliards de shillings destiné à mettre en place des installations partagées dans des parcs de regroupement et des zones industrielles à travers le pays.

L'annonce a été faite le 28 mai au palais présidentiel lors de la signature d'un accord établissant ces parcs. M. Ruto a précisé que ce financement serait inclus dans le prochain budget national.

Chacun des 47 comtés du Kenya devrait recevoir entre 100 et 150 millions de shillings pour des équipements partagés de transformation et de conditionnement. Ces installations ciblent les micro, petites et moyennes entreprises du secteur agricole.

M. Ruto a déclaré que le déploiement est prévu pour juillet 2025. Le plan vise à réduire les pertes après récolte et à améliorer la présentation des produits locaux.
