Tesla has refunded all affected customers after a pricing error inflated Supercharger rates in Atlantic Canada earlier this month.
The glitch began around July 2 and displayed incorrect per-minute charges at stations in Prince Edward Island and parts of New Brunswick and Nova Scotia. One screenshot from Charlottetown showed rates as high as $6.00 per minute for the 180-250 kW tier.
On July 13, Tesla’s official Charging account on X announced that correct pricing would take effect at midnight that day. The company also stated it would waive all fees for sessions since July 2 without requiring individual claims.
Standard rates in the region are typically $0.25 to $0.60 per kWh. The automated refunds cover every session during the affected period at the impacted stations.
