AMD unveils FSR Redstone update for RDNA 4 GPUs

AMD has launched its FSR Redstone update, targeting the Radeon RX 9000 series with support for over 200 games by the end of 2025. The update includes four primary components:

AMD reports FPS gains exceeding 3x across various games, reaching up to 4.7x in demanding ones. For older RDNA architectures, enabling Redstone reverts to FSR 3 functionality.

Early implementations appear in games like Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, showcasing ray regeneration, and a technology demo with Warhammer 40,000: Darktide highlights neural caching.
