BRI menempati peringkat pertama di Indonesia dan 369 secara global, bersanding dengan merek seperti Apple, Microsoft, Google, Amazon, dan YouTube. Dari ASEAN, 11 merek termasuk BRI berhasil masuk daftar ini.

Direktur Utama BRI Hery Gunardi menyatakan bahwa pencapaian ini mencerminkan kekuatan merek dan kepercayaan masyarakat terhadap layanan BRI. "Pengakuan global ini kami dedikasikan kepada seluruh nasabah setia BRI serta Insan BRILiaN yang telah memberikan kontribusi terbaiknya," ujarnya pada 9 April 2026.

Sebagai bagian dari transformasi BRIVolution Reignite, BRI meluncurkan corporate rebranding pada Desember 2025 dengan semangat "Satu Bank untuk Semua". Perubahan ini mencakup penyegaran identitas visual dan penguatan layanan, sambil menegaskan kedekatan dengan masyarakat, khususnya pelaku UMKM.

Brand Finance menilai kekuatan merek berdasarkan standar ISO 20671, mempertimbangkan investasi pemasaran, ekuitas pemangku kepentingan, dan kinerja bisnis. Managing Director Asia Pacific Brand Finance Alex Haigh menyebut sektor perbankan mendominasi merek ASEAN, termasuk BRI, DBS, OCBC Bank, dan Maybank.
