Meta gulirkan pembaruan firmware untuk privasi kacamata pintar

Meta telah memperkenalkan pembaruan firmware wajib untuk kacamata pintar Ray-Ban guna mengatasi manipulasi pada lampu indikator perekaman. Perubahan ini bertujuan untuk menghentikan pengguna agar tidak menonaktifkan LED yang menandakan saat kamera sedang aktif.

Pembaruan ini menyusul adanya layanan yang menawarkan modifikasi untuk menonaktifkan lampu tersebut, yang memungkinkan perekaman secara lebih diam-diam. Meta menyatakan bahwa firmware tersebut akan menonaktifkan kamera jika ditemukan adanya manipulasi.
