Chez Migu opens in Bogotá with modern French cuisine proposal

The Chez Migu restaurant, specializing in modern French cuisine, has opened its Bogotá location following success in Medellín. Located in Chapinero, the venue aims to serve over 300,000 unique diners in its first year with an investment of nearly $1.800 million.

Chez Migu, a modern French cuisine restaurant, opened its doors in Bogotá on October 29, 2025. The new location is in Chapinero at Calle 65 #4-05, featuring an intimate format with capacity for 75 people distributed across the piano area and main hall.

The project is led by founding partners María Luisa Penagos, Juan José Aramburo, Sebastián Garcés, and Eduardo De Greiff, who focus on an integral experience encompassing a carefully curated atmosphere, quality cuisine, and approachable service. Following strong reception in Medellín, the Bogotá opening involves an investment of nearly $1.800 million. Projections include serving over 300,000 unique diners in the first year, with sales exceeding $3.000 million and the creation of about 14 jobs.

Diners can enjoy live music, guest singers, and themed nights. There is also a private VIP area for meetings or celebrations of up to 30 people. The menu retains signature dishes from Medellín, such as salsa café de París, rotie de alioli with house potatoes, baked brie cheese, and iconic desserts. It is complemented by a varied selection of cocktails and wines, with an average ticket per person ranging from $150.000 to $160.000.
