Cathay Pacific investigates wrong taxiway use at Manila airport

Hong Kong's Cathay Pacific is investigating an incident where its flight CX918 incorrectly used a taxiway at Manila's Ninoy Aquino International Airport during departure. The mishap caused delays for two incoming planes, but the airline stressed that passenger and crew safety was never compromised. Cathay Pacific is cooperating fully with authorities in the probe.

The incident occurred on Wednesday involving Cathay Pacific flight CX918 from Manila's Ninoy Aquino International Airport to Hong Kong. During taxi for departure, the aircraft made incorrect use of a taxiway, a spokesman said.
