ホンダは、第7回目となるカスタムバイクコンテスト「Wheels and Waves」を、「ダート対ストリート」という新たなテーマで開催する。ヨーロッパの10名のビルダーが、アドベンチャーバイクの「Transalp」またはネイキッドストリートバイクの「CB750 Hornet」をベースにカスタマイズを行う。
この毎年恒例のイベントはフランスのビアリッツで開催され、サーフィン、スケートボード、BMX、そしてモーターサイクルを融合させたものとなっている。今年は各モデルに5名ずつのビルダーが取り組む。
一般投票はHondacustoms.comにて8月31日までオンラインで実施される。また、Transalpのオリジナルデザイナーであるヴァレリオ・アイエロ氏と、CB750 Hornetのオリジナルデザイナーであるジョヴァンニ・ドヴィス氏も審査に加わる。
