한국수력원자력은 수요일 오후 2시 26분경 원자력안전위원회에 누출 사실을 보고했다.
원자로는 7월부터 정기 검사로 가동이 중단된 상태였다. 누출된 중수는 시설 밖으로 유출되지 않았다.
당국은 현장 점검을 위해 전문가들을 파견할 계획이다. 외부 방사선 수치에는 이상이 없는 것으로 확인됐다.
