토요일 오키나와 북부에서 발생한 사륜 오토바이 사고로 69세 홍콩 여성 관광객이 위중한 상태에 빠졌다.
사고는 토요일 오전 11시경 나고시의 한 야외 경주장에서 발생했다. 해당 여성은 전지형 차량(ATV) 조작 교육을 받던 관광객 6명 중 한 명이었다.
그녀가 실수로 가속 페달을 밟으면서 차량이 갑자기 속도를 내며 균형을 잃고 전복되었다. 이 사고로 그녀는 머리 왼쪽 부위에 심각한 충격을 입고 과다 출혈을 보였다.
여성은 의식을 잃은 채 헬기로 병원에 이송되었다. 홍콩 이민국은 가족들의 요청을 받은 후 홍콩 주재 중국 외교부 사무소 및 후쿠오카 주재 중국 영사관에 연락을 취했으며 필요한 지원을 제공하고 있다고 밝혔다.
