Payments for women's work bonus begin in December

Starting this Tuesday, December 30, the National Service for Training and Employment (Sence) begins payments for the Women's Work Bonus, providing a monthly contribution of up to $44,157 to eligible beneficiaries. Workers can check their assigned amount on the Sence website using their RUN and Unique Key. This December deposit is calculated proportionally to the income recorded in September.

The Women's Work Bonus is an economic aid managed by Sence, aimed at workers who have applied and meet certain requirements. This benefit seeks to support women in the labor field, providing a monthly deposit of up to $44,157.

To check if the payment applies, beneficiaries must log into the Sence website with their RUN and Unique Key. The December 30 deposit is assigned proportionally based on the income from last September, according to the organism's payment calendar.

Workers who have not yet applied can do so online, provided they meet the following requirements:
- Be between 25 and 59 years and 11 months old.
- Work as a dependent or independent.
- Belong to the 40% of lowest-income families, according to the Social Registry of Households.
- For annual payments, receive a gross annual income below $7,948,180.
- For monthly payments, a gross monthly income below $662,348.
- Have up-to-date contributions.
- Not work in state institutions (including municipalities) or private companies with state funding equal to or greater than 50%.
- If independent, issue honorarium invoices and file Income Tax Return with the SII.

This bonus represents key support for women in vulnerable labor situations, promoting equity in employment. Applications are made exclusively online through the Sence portal.

The government has decided to negotiate solely with the UGT and CCOO unions on the 2026 minimum wage (SMI) increase, after realizing it cannot count on the CEOE and Cepyme employers' associations. Experts propose a 3.1% rise if it remains exempt from IRPF tax, raising it to 1,221 euros monthly in 14 payments, above 60% of the average salary. This deal aims to cover inflation and prevent companies from offsetting the increase through salary supplements.
