Super Junior's Donghae collapses on stage in Hong Kong

Super Junior member Donghae collapsed during his solo concert in Hong Kong on June 28 while performing the song Help!. The idol, who has a herniated disc, was assisted off stage before returning to apologize to fans.

Donghae was in the middle of his first solo tour Alive when the incident occurred on the second night in Hong Kong. He jumped during the performance then dropped to his knees in pain before lying on the stage. Staff rushed to help him and paused the show.

He later returned seated in a chair and addressed the crowd while tearing up. Donghae repeatedly said he was sorry for ruining the day and joked that he was an ahjussi after trying to stand up suddenly.

The tour continues with final dates scheduled for Macao in August. Fans expressed concern online after clips of the moment spread.

A source close to the agency confirmed the back issue has been an ongoing issue for the idol.
