Zoom makes AI receptionist available beyond its phone users

Zoom has expanded access to its AI-powered receptionist tool. The service is now open to businesses that do not use Zoom Phone.

The company introduced the Zoom Virtual Agent Receptionist to allow organizations to adopt AI features without changing existing phone systems.

A company statement noted that businesses should not need to replace their current setup to gain AI benefits.

The update took effect on July 13 and broadens the tool's reach to a wider range of customers.
