Polícia peruana prende homem procurado pela Espanha por abusar da neta

A polícia peruana prendeu na terça-feira, em Trujillo, Evelindo López Díaz, de 76 anos, devido a um alerta vermelho da Interpol emitido pela Espanha. Ele enfrenta uma pena de 11 anos e seis meses de prisão na Espanha por agredir sexualmente sua neta menor de idade entre 2012 e 2018. Ele será extraditado para Madri nos próximos dias.

A Polícia Nacional do Peru capturou Evelindo López Díaz no distrito de Víctor Larco, em Trujillo, capital da região de La Libertad. A prisão foi realizada por agentes da Divisão de Investigação de Alta Tecnologia da região, juntamente com a Interpol, na tarde de terça-feira. O peruano de 76 anos vivia praticamente escondido e utilizava outro endereço como fachada. A captura foi resultado de um trabalho de inteligência policial, de acordo com fontes oficiais. López Díaz era procurado pelas autoridades espanholas por agredir sexualmente sua neta menor de idade em Madri até 2018. Ele já possui uma sentença definitiva de 11 anos e seis meses de prisão na Espanha por agressão sexual a menor. O detido será transferido para Madri nos próximos dias para cumprir sua pena.
