Ryanair faced technical issues at Arlanda

Technical problems with Ryanair at Arlanda on Wednesday morning caused several passengers to miss their flights. The airline states the issue has been fixed and affected travelers will be rebooked.

On Wednesday morning Ryanair suffered a temporary technical problem with an external system provider at Stockholm Arlanda Airport. This caused long queues at baggage check-in and several travelers missed their departures.

Elionor Jåssis and her family were traveling to Crete but got stuck in line and watched the plane leave without them. Despite Ryanair's statement about rebooking they were denied assistance because the issue was not registered in the system.

Ryanair announced that affected passengers would be rebooked free of charge on the next available flight. Travelers however reported that no help was available on site.

Booking new tickets would cost the family 15 000 to 20 000 kronor in addition to the original 50 000 kronor for the trip.
