Presidente da Assembleia Wetang'ula enfrenta processo por desacato

A Vocal Africa alega que, entre 10 e 12 de julho, Wetang’ula discursou em comícios em Narok North, Sirisia, Matungu, Kabuchai e Webuye East, incentivando os moradores a apoiarem o presidente William Ruto nas eleições de 2027.

O juiz David Mburu afirmou na segunda-feira que a petição é urgente e agendou o caso para novas orientações em 16 de julho.
