Michelin stars awarded at Copenhagen ceremony

Nordic Michelin stars for 2026 were handed out on Monday evening during a ceremony at Tivoli in Copenhagen. Danish restaurants received six new stars while Swedish venues kept their existing accolades.

Kadeau Copenhagen received its third star after a standing ovation. Copenhagen restaurants Lille Mølle, Akmē and Esse along with Okê in Skagen and Bach & Nurup in Ålborg each received their first star.

No new stars went to Swedish restaurants. Vyn and Vollmers in Skåne kept their two stars each and Frantzén in Stockholm remained Sweden's only three-star venue.

Adam Albin in Stockholm was awarded opening of the year. Carl Frosterud at Aira received the service award and Andreas Ring Kjeldsholm received the young chef award.

The Michelin Guide's green star was replaced by Mindful Voices which went to Heide Bjerkan at Credo in Oslo which also received its first star.
