Xbox Game Studios-chefen Craig Duncan avgår

Craig Duncan har sagt upp sig som chef för Xbox Game Studios efter mindre än två år. Han lämnar företaget under denna vecka.

Craig Duncan tog över rollen under 2024 efter att Alan Hartman gick i pension. Han ledde tidigare Rare sedan 2011, där han bland annat ansvarade för Sea of Thieves och andra projekt.

I sitt mejl till personalen skrev Duncan att hans syfte var att tjäna studiorna och leverera spel av hög kvalitet. Han hyllade även stabschefen Louise O'Connor, som lämnar företaget samtidigt som honom.

Xbox Game Studios-team kommer nu att rapportera till Matt Booty, chef för innehållsfrågor, fram till dess att en ersättare har hittats. Avhoppen sker samtidigt som Xbox genomgår ledarskapsförändringar under Asha Sharma, vilket inkluderar budgetjusteringar och personalneddragningar.
