Adres launches digital platform for indemnities without Soat

The Administradora de Recursos del Sistema General de Seguridad Social en Salud (Adres) has launched a digital platform allowing individuals to directly request indemnities for traffic accidents without Soat, catastrophic events, or terrorist acts. The tool covers cases of death, funeral expenses, and permanent disability, without intermediaries. It is available 24/7 on the entity's web portal.

The Adres announced the launch of a new digital platform that streamlines direct filing of indemnity claims for individuals. Operational since April 21, 2026, it digitizes the process using the Formulario Único de Reclamación de Indemnizaciones - Persona Natural (Furpen).

"The new tool allows citizens to make direct, easy requests for indemnities without intermediaries," the entity stated in a press release. The procedure applies to traffic accidents without Seguro Obligatorio de Accidentes de Tránsito (Soat), catastrophic events, or terrorist acts, covering death, funeral expenses, and permanent disability.

In cases of death, beneficiaries include the spouse or permanent partner and children. Without children, the spouse receives the full amount; if neither exists, parents or siblings may claim. For permanent disability, the victim must submit a labor capacity loss assessment per article 142 of Decree 019 of 2012.

Users access it via the Adres web portal under citizen services, selecting recognition and payment of indemnities for victims - natural person. The platform runs 24/7, enabling online submission and tracking without travel.
