Mahakama Kuu imezuia mwandishi Patu Santoo ole Naikumi kuendelea na maandalizi ya kuchapisha wasifu wa marehemu William Ronkorua ole Ntimama hadi kesi ya umiliki isikilizwe.

Mahakama ilitoa uamuzi huo baada ya watoto wa marehemu Ntimama, Lydia Ntimama na Amos Ntimama, kuwasilisha kesi. Wawili hao ni wasimamizi wa mali ya baba yao na wanadai haki za uchapishaji.

Familia ilisema Ntimama aliamuru Chuo Kikuu cha Maasai Mara kuandika tawasifu yake miaka kadhaa kabla ya kifo chake mwaka 2016. Baada ya kifo chake walimshirikisha Bw Naikumi lakini walidai alishindwa kukamilisha kazi na akadai malipo ya Sh1 milioni pamoja na asilimia 20 ya mauzo.

Bw Naikumi alikanusha madai hayo na kusema alifanya utafiti wake mwenyewe na kwamba mradi ulikwama kutokana na ukosefu wa fedha na usaidizi kutoka kwa familia. Mahakama ilisema familia ingeweza kupata hasara kubwa isiyoweza kufidiwa iwapo uchapishaji ungeendelea.
