Katika taarifa yake kwenye X, alisema: "Saa 5 asubuhi leo, goons zaidi ya 100 walishambulia hoteli yangu huko Kisumu, wakaharibu mali na kujeruhi wafanyikazi wetu, pamoja na kumfunga mlinzi wa kike. Nilikimbia kuwafuata, nikapiga risasi mbili angani wakikimbia."

CCTV inaonyesha goons wakivamia saa 5:15 asubuhi, wakivunja fanicha na kubeba bidhaa. Tukio la kifuatano lilikuwa wiki chache kabla. LBDA inasema hoteli ni mwenyeji haramu sasa.
