Gavana Kihika na mumewe wanamiliki hoteli ya kifahari karibu na Ikulu ya Nakuru

Siku moja baada ya wabunge kuibua wasiwasi kuhusu majengo marefu karibu na Ikulu ya Nakuru, Sam Mburu amethibitisha kuwa yeye na mkewe, Gavana Susan Kihika, ndio wamiliki wa Hoteli ya Encore. Hoteli hiyo ya kifahari ina zaidi ya vyumba 200 na imejengwa kwa mabilioni ya fedha.

Taifa Leo imebaini kuwa Hoteli ya Encore, iliyojengwa karibu na Ikulu ya Nakuru, inamilikiwa na Gavana wa Nakuru Susan Kihika na mumewe Sam Mburu. Siku moja baada ya wabunge kutoa wasiwasi kuhusu ongezeko la majengo marefu katika eneo hilo, ikiwemo hoteli hii yenye vyumba zaidi ya 200, Bw Mburu alithibitisha umiliki wake.

Katika mahojiano ya simu na Taifa Leo, Bw Mburu alisema, “Ninathibitisha kuwa mimi ndiye mmiliki wa Encore Hotel na nilipata vibali vyote vinavyohitajika kabla ya ujenzi kuanza. Mradi wa kiwango hiki huhitaji vibali sahihi, na tulivipata vyote.” Alisisitiza kuwa eneo la hoteli haliathiri usalama wa Ikulu, kwani walipata idhini zote muhimu kutoka serikali ya kaunti na mashirika ya kitaifa.

Mwenyekiti wa Chama cha Utalii Nakuru, Mchungaji David Mwangi, ambaye pia ni msimamizi wa mradi, aliongeza kuwa walipata vibali vyote, ikiwemo tathmini ya athari za mazingira kutoka NEMA na idhini ya mipango ya ujenzi kutoka serikalini. Hoteli hii ya kifahari inatarajiwa kuchangia sekta ya utalii katika kaunti ya Nakuru, ingawa wasiwasi wa wabunge ulikuwa kuhusu usalama na athari za majengo haya karibu na Ikulu.
