የደቡብ ኢትዮጵያ ክልል መንግሥት ኮሙኒኬሽን ጉዳዮች ቢሮ ሚዲያዎችን በ7ኛው ጠቅላላ ምርጫ ሂደት ውስጥ ኃላፊነታቸውን እንዲያገኙ ጠርቷል። በወላይታ ሶዶ ከተማ የጋራ ምክክር ተካሂዶ ግልጽነት፣ ሚዛናዊነትና ሰላም እንዲጠናቀቅ ይህን አስፈላጊነት ገለጸ።

በአዲስ አበባ የካቲት 9፣ 2018 ኤኢ ዓም (ፌብሩዋሪ 16፣ 2026 ግሪጎሪያን) የደቡብ ኢትዮጵያ ክልል መንግሥት ኮሙኒኬሽን ጉዳዮች ቢሮ በወላይታ ሶዶ ከተማ የሚገኙ የኮሙኒኬሽንና ሚዲያ ተቋማት ከተለያዩ ተቋማት ጋር ጋራ ምክክር አካሄደ። ይህ ምክክር የ7ኛው ጠቅላላ ምርጫ ሂደትን ስኬታማ ለማድረግ የሚያስችሉ ጉዳዮችን ይወያያል።

ቢሮ ኃላፊ አቶ ኃይለማርያም ተስፋዬ ይህን ምርጫ “ኢትዮጵያ በዴሞክራሲያዊ ሥርዓት ግንባታ ሂደት ላይ ተደማሪ ውጤቶች እንድትጎናጸፍ በሚያስችል አኳኋን እንዲካሄድ” ብሎ ገለጸ። ሚዲያዎች ይህን ምርጫ ግልጽ፣ ሚዛናዊና ሰላማዊ እንዲጠናቀቅ ኃላፊነታቸውን መውጣት አለባቸው ተናግሮ።

ቢሮው የግንዛቤ ማስጨበጫን በማጠነክር ነጻ፣ ፍትሐዊና ሚዛናዊ ምርጫ ሂደት ዜጎች መንግሥት መመራት እንዲችሉ እንዲሠራ የሚዲያ ተቋማትና አማራጮች አስፈላጊውን ሥራ እንዲያደርጉ አመልክቷል። ሁሉም ድምጾች እንዲስተናገዱ ሚዛናዊነትን ማስጠበቅ የሚዲያ ተልዕኮ መሆኑን ገልጾ በንቃት እንዲሳተፉ የሚያደርጉ መገናኛ ብዙ ትክክለኛ መረጃ በመስጠት ኃላፊነታቸውን መውጣት ጥሪ አቅርበዋል።
