የደቡብ ኢትዮጵያ ክልል ሴቶች ፌዴሬሽን በክልሉ 7ኛው ጠቅላላ ምርጫ ስኬት የሴቶች ንቁ ተሳትፎ ወሳኝ መሆኑን አስታውቋል። ምርጫው ሰላማዊና ዴሞክራሲያዊ በሆነ መንገድ መጠናቀቁን ፌዴሬሽኑ ገልጿል።
ፌዴሬሽኑ ግንቦት 30 ቀን 2018 ባወጣው መግለጫ ምርጫው ሰላማዊ፣ ዴሞክራሲያዊ፣ ፍትሐዊና ነጻ እንደነበር አረጋግጧል።
የፌዴሬሽኑ ፕሬዚዳንት ወ/ሮ አለሚቱ ኃይለሚካኤል ሴቶች በታዛቢነት ከፍተኛ ተሳትፎ ማድረጋቸውን ጠቅሰዋል። ፌዴሬሽኑ ሴቶችን በታዛቢነት ለማሳተፍ የተለያዩ ስልጠናዎችን መስጠቱን አስታውሰዋል።
የፌዴሬሽኑ ዋና ፀሀፊ ወ/ሮ ማስረሻ ዘሪሁን እንደተናገሩት 2 ሺህ 953 ሴቶች በ2 ሺህ 630 የምርጫ ጣቢያዎች በቋሚነትና በተንቀሳቃሽነት ምርጫውን ተመልክተዋል።
