وعد قادة حزب الحركة الديمقراطية البرتقالية (ODM) من مقاطعة هوما باي بالاتحاد للمساعدة في تأمين أصوات للرئيس ويليام روتو في المنطقة.

قاد وزير المالية جون مبادي دعوة الوحدة يوم الأحد في كنيسة سومبرو السبتية في كوتشيا، دائرة رانغوي الانتخابية. وكان من بين القادة الذين تصافحوا الحاكمة غلاديس وانغا، والسكرتير ريموند أومولو، والوزير أوبيو واندائي، والنائبة جويس أوسوغو، والسيناتور موسى كاجوانغ. وتعهدوا بضمان حصول الرئيس روتو على جميع الأصوات من منطقة نيانزا في عام 2027، مشيرين إلى أن الراحل رايلا أودينغا تركهم في الحكومة الائتلافية.
