Krafton reported strong growth for the PUBG intellectual property in the first half of 2026. The publisher shared the figures in its second quarter earnings report released on July 29.
The PUBG brand, which includes PUBG: Battlegrounds on PC, PUBG Mobile and Battlegrounds Mobile India, brought in 25 percent more revenue than in the same period last year. All three titles contributed to the increase, driven by new modes and collaborations.
On PC the company added the co-op PvE mode Xeno Point and a crossover event with the Payday series. Mobile growth came partly from user-generated content under the World of Wonder banner.
Krafton said it plans to expand creation tools and add UGC based on IPs such as Naruto and Spider-Man. It will also introduce a new in-game currency to improve creator rewards.
The publisher's overall operating profit reached a record 410.9 billion KRW, up 67 percent year-on-year. PC revenue rose 155.1 percent and console revenue rose 143.3 percent, while mobile grew 5.5 percent. Krafton also confirmed it will develop Subnautica 2 into a full franchise IP after strong early access performance.
