منظمة VOCAL Africa تقدم التماساً للطعن في توظيفات هيئة الموانئ الكينية

قدمت جماعات حقوق الإنسان، بقيادة منظمة VOCAL Africa، التماساً إلى المحكمة العليا في مومباسا للطعن في عملية توظيف هيئة الموانئ الكينية (KPA) لـ 296 موظفاً.

تم تقديم الالتماس في 15 مايو في قسم الدستور وحقوق الإنسان. ويسمي الالتماس هيئة الموانئ الكينية ولجنة الخدمة العامة والنائب العام كمدعى عليهم. ومن بين مقدمي الالتماس المشتركين منظمة "مسلمون من أجل حقوق الإنسان" ومنظمة "She Rises".

صرح المدير التنفيذي لمنظمة VOCAL Africa، حسين خالد، بأن العملية انتهكت الإجراءات المحددة. وأضاف أن المجموعة تطلب من المحكمة إعلان بطلان العملية برمتها والأمر بإجراء عملية توظيف جديدة.

بدأت هيئة الموانئ الكينية حملة التوظيف في نوفمبر 2025 وتلقت نصف مليون طلب لشغل وظائف تتراوح رواتبها بين 67,000 و132,000 شلن كيني. وقد أكد المدير التنفيذي الكابتن ويليام روتو أن التوظيف تم بشكل علني من خلال نظام إلكتروني اختار أفضل المرشحين.

ويجادل مقدمو الالتماس بأن الاستحقاق والتوازن الإقليمي لم يتم أخذهما في الاعتبار بشكل مناسب، ويسعون إلى إجراء عملية شفافة تتماشى مع لوائح الخدمة العامة.
