Apple Fitness+ launches new workout programs for 2026

Apple Fitness+ has announced four new workout programs starting January 5 to help users restart their exercise routines. The updates include personalized plans, new Time to Walk episodes, and artist spotlights. These additions aim to keep subscribers motivated throughout the year.

Apple's Fitness+ platform is rolling out fresh content to support New Year's fitness resolutions. On January 5, subscribers gain access to four specialized workout programs. "Make Your Fitness Comeback" targets those returning to exercise, incorporating strength training, HIIT, and yoga sessions.

Launching January 12, "The Strength Basics in 3 Weeks" teaches fundamentals for beginners or returners, with three weekly workouts focusing on different body parts to build proper technique and form. "Back-to-Back Strength and HIIT" pairs 10 minutes of strength with 10 minutes of high-intensity interval training in three 20-minute sessions per week for three weeks. "Build a Yoga Habit in 4 Weeks" offers two 10-minute flows weekly to foster regular practice.

To enhance consistency, users can create custom plans scheduling workout days, types, durations, music, and trainers. Artist spotlights feature Grammy winner KAROL G and, on February 2 ahead of the Super Bowl, a Bad Bunny series. New Time to Walk episodes include actors Michelle Monaghan and Penn Badgley, plus musician Mel B.

Guest trainers add variety: social creator Allie Bennett leads a treadmill strut workout, twin brothers Luke and Paul Harwerth join a dance session, and cookbook author Remy Park guides a yoga class. Apple Watch and AirPods Pro 3 users will see on-screen metrics like calorie burn, heart rate, and activity ring progress, with comparisons to other class participants.

Fitness+ remains available on iPhone, iPad, and Apple TV. These features build on December's addition of classes in Spanish, German, and Japanese.
