Bel Coelho, renowned chef, writer, and researcher, internationally presents her new book 'Floresta na Boca' in Lisbon. The launch takes place on Monday, January 12, 2026, at 7 p.m., at Livraria da Travessa Lisboa, as part of the bookstore's cultural program in the Portuguese capital.

The work results from an expedition conducted last year through the state of Pará, where Bel explored Amazonian cuisine and local producers. The book compiles travel accounts, reflections on the region's food culture, and highlights of typical Amazon ingredients. Illustrations and art direction are by Marina Aranha, who handled the visual project.

At the event, Bel Coelho will engage in a chat with writer Jerônimo Villas-Bôas, moderated by journalist Alexandra Prado Coelho. This presentation marks the international debut of the work, which addresses themes such as healthy eating, environment, and the Amazon biome.

The book emerges amid growing interest in sustainable ingredients and practices from Brazilian biodiversity, promoting the valorization of forest food.
