Continental beslutter salg af ContiTech til Lone Star for fire milliarder euro

DAX-selskabet Continental er blevet enige om at sælge sit datterselskab ContiTech til den finansielle investor Lone Star Funds. Virksomhedsværdien er 4 milliarder euro plus eventuelle yderligere betalinger.

Continental har underskrevet en kontrakt om at sælge enheden efter godkendelse fra direktionen og bestyrelsen. Gennemførelsen afhænger fortsat af myndighedernes godkendelse og forventes at kunne finde sted inden udgangen af 2026.

Koncernen forventer et nettoprovenu på omkring 3,1 milliarder euro fra transaktionen. Disse midler skal bruges til at reducere den finansielle gæld og udlodde værdi til aktionærerne.

Ifølge Continental kan aktionærerne forvente et ekstraordinært udbytte eller en kombination af aktietilbagekøb og et ekstraordinært udbytte på omkring 2,5 milliarder euro.
