Kone opkøber TK Elevator for 29,4 milliarder euro

Den finske virksomhed Kone planlægger at opkøbe den tyske konkurrent TK Elevator for 29,4 milliarder euro inklusive gæld. Begge virksomheder meddelte dette i en fælles erklæring onsdag. Ejerne Advent og Cinven sælger til den øvre grænse af den målsatte værdiansættelse på mellem 25 og 29 milliarder euro.

Den planlagte overtagelse i elevatorbranchen blev annonceret i Frankfurt og Düsseldorf. Kone og TK Elevator (TKE) bekræftede aftalen i deres fælles erklæring. Prisen lyder på i alt 29,4 milliarder euro inklusive gæld, hvilket markerer et af de største salg foretaget af finansielle investorer i Tyskland. TK Elevators ejere, investorerne Advent og Cinven, opnår den øvre grænse for deres målsatte værdiansættelse på 25-29 milliarder euro. Dette er ikke Kones første forsøg på at opkøbe den tyske rival. Fusionen kan igen møde modstand. Transaktionen understreger konsolideringen i branchen. Begge virksomheder ser potentiale i sammenlægningen, selvom der forventes regulatoriske hindringer.
