Honda has introduced an updated lineup of its CRF450 off-road motorcycles for the 2027 model year. The changes include more power from the CRF450R and a new limited-edition factory-style model for consumers.
The CRF450R engine delivers 10 percent more horsepower and 4 percent more torque. Engineers achieved the gains through a larger bore, a revised piston crown with higher compression, a shorter stroke and updated titanium valves. A new gearbox, back torque limiter and smaller starter motor improve power delivery and reduce weight. Electronics now include factory-derived HRC Launch Control and Honda Selectable Torque Control, plus an Engine Mode Select Button. The chassis features a stiffer frame, a lighter swingarm and revised bodywork. The CRF450RX enduro model adopts the same slim titanium fuel tank and body panels as the motocross version. Topping the range is the limited-edition CRF450R HRC-WE. It adds hand-finished ports, a Yoshimura titanium exhaust, a Twinair filter and exclusive suspension components.
