Porsche has launched the 2026 Cayenne Electric, with the Turbo Electric version delivering 1,156 hp, making it the most powerful production car in the brand's history. This fully electric SUV provides up to 653 km WLTP range and charges from 10 to 80% in under 16 minutes. It was tested in Barcelona.
The Porsche Cayenne Electric comes in three versions: base with 402 hp and 0-100 km/h in 4.8 seconds with up to 642 km range; S with 544 hp, 3.8 seconds and up to 653 km; and Turbo Electric with 1,156 hp via overboost, reaching 0-100 km/h in 2.5 seconds. It features Push-to-Pass for 173 extra hp for 10 seconds. The platform uses a 113 kWh structural battery integrated into the floor, 800-volt architecture and dual cooling for up to 400 kW fast charging.
Tested in Barcelona, the Cayenne Turbo Electric impresses with instant acceleration without engine noise, all-wheel drive and adaptive air suspension PASM. Weight distribution is 48:52, with optional rear-axle steering for agility. Porsche calls it Powertrain Trinity, coexisting with gasoline and hybrid versions beyond 2030.
The interior features a curved OLED Flow Display, 14.25-inch digital cluster, augmented reality head-up display and nine Mood Modes adjusting lighting, climate and more. The central Ferry Pad eases operation. Optional inductive charging arrives from the second half of 2026.
