RWE overvejer at købe yderligere Amprion-aktier

Det Essen-baserede energiselskab RWE planlægger at erhverve endnu en stor aktiepost i netoperatøren Amprion. Et konsortium anført af Ärzteversorgung Westfalen-Lippe har til hensigt at sælge sin ejerandel.

To personer med kendskab til sagen har bekræftet over for Handelsblatt, at RWE ønsker at købe aktieposten. Gennem et joint venture med den amerikanske kapitalforvalter Apollo ejer RWE i øjeblikket 25,1 procent af Amprion.

Det planlagte køb af aktieposten på 16,5 procent fra Ärzteversorgung vil bringe RWE's ejerandel op på over 40 procent. Transaktionsvolumen forventes at ligge i det lave milliardområde.

Amprion driver en betydelig del af Tysklands eltransmissionsnet. Investeringer i sådanne net betragtes som politisk relevante i Tyskland, da de udgør kritisk infrastruktur, der skal udbygges for at understøtte energiomstillingen.

Mercuria Energy Group Ltd. will acquire the Dock Sud refinery and about 700 service stations from Raízen SA in a $1.42 billion deal.

The government proposes in its spring budget amendment that the state take a 60 percent majority stake in nuclear company Videberg Kraft, planning new small reactors at Ringhals.
