Nach einer achtmonatigen Zwangspause aufgrund einer Rückenverletzung zwischen August 2025 und Februar 2026 war Fils mit einem Turniersieg in Barcelona sowie Halbfinalteilnahmen in Miami und Madrid stark zurückgekehrt.
