Deezer disclosed on May 4 that 44 percent of all songs uploaded to its platform—around 75,000 daily—are AI-generated, up sharply from 10 percent in January and 28 percent last September. The IFPI Global Report 2026 reveals that global recorded music revenues surpassed $30 billion for the first time in 2025, marking the 11th consecutive year of growth. Revenue growth accelerated to 6.4%, driven by gains in Asia and strong performances in subscription streaming and physical formats.
