Juristische Fakultät der Universität Chile wirft Begleitern der Abgeordneten Rodríguez Provokationen vor

Der Dekan der Juristischen Fakultät der Universität Chile, Miguel González Lemus, hat ein Schreiben an den Kongress gerichtet, in dem er den Begleitern der Abgeordneten Javiera Rodríguez vorwirft, während ihres Besuchs am 29. Mai Provokationen begangen zu haben.

González Lemus verteidigte die Stellungnahme der Fakultät und erklärte, die Begleiter von Rodríguez hätten spöttische Gesten gemacht, Studenten ständig gefilmt und versucht, diese zu provozieren. Er fügte hinzu, dass sie nicht die ursprünglich geladene Person gewesen sei und keine vorherigen Drohungen gemeldet habe. Die Abgeordnete Rodríguez wies die Anschuldigungen zurück und betonte, dass ihr Team niemanden provoziert habe. Sie gab an, mit Bannern mit Pinochet-Fotos, Spuckattacken, Schubsen und Rufen konfrontiert worden zu sein, und dass alles dokumentiert und an die Universität sowie die Polizei übermittelt worden sei. Dem Schreiben zufolge dauerte die Veranstaltung eineinhalb Stunden ohne Unterbrechungen, und die Proteste gingen von weniger als 40 Personen in einer Gemeinschaft von 2.500 Studenten aus. Die Fakultät leitete am 5. Juni ein Disziplinarverfahren ein.
