Faculdade de Direito do Chile acusa provocações durante visita da deputada Rodríguez

O diretor da Faculdade de Direito da Universidade do Chile, Miguel González Lemus, enviou uma carta ao Congresso acusando acompanhantes da deputada Javiera Rodríguez de realizarem provocações durante sua visita em 29 de maio.

González Lemus defendeu a declaração da faculdade e disse que os acompanhantes de Rodríguez fizeram gestos de deboche, filmaram os estudantes constantemente e tentaram irritá-los. Ele acrescentou que ela não era a convidada original e que não havia relatado ameaças prévias.

A deputada Rodríguez rejeitou as acusações e sustentou que sua equipe não provocou ninguém. Ela afirmou ter enfrentado faixas com fotos de Pinochet, cusparadas, empurrões e gritos, e que tudo foi documentado e enviado à universidade e à polícia.

De acordo com a carta, a atividade durou uma hora e meia sem interrupções e os protestos partiram de menos de 40 pessoas em uma comunidade de 2.500 estudantes. A faculdade abriu uma investigação disciplinar em 5 de junho.
