ANC im Free State meldet Fortschritte bei der Stabilisierung der Parteizweige

Der African National Congress in der Provinz Free State erklärt, er sei auf einem guten Weg, die Partei zu stabilisieren, beginnend auf der Ebene der Parteizweige. Provinzsekretär Polediso Motsoeneng gab bekannt, dass 244 von 319 Zweigen ihre Exekutivkomitees gewählt haben. Die verbleibenden Zweige müssen die Wahlen bis Ende April abschließen.

Der ANC im Free State hielt in seiner Provinzzentrale eine Pressekonferenz ab, bei der Sekretär Polediso Motsoeneng die Bemühungen darlegte, die Partei von der Basis der Zweige an aufwärts zu stabilisieren. Motsoeneng berichtete, dass 244 der 319 Zweige der Provinz erfolgreich ihre Exekutivkomitees (BECs) gewählt haben. Er verwies auf Beschwerden einiger Zweige im Lejweleputswa District Municipality in der vergangenen Woche bezüglich Unregelmäßigkeiten bei BEC-Sitzungen. Laut Motsoeneng bestehen weiterhin Herausforderungen, insbesondere Inkonsistenzen im Mitgliedersystem. Das Provinzialexekutivkomitee (PEC) hat die verbleibenden 75 Zweige sowie Interimszweige angewiesen, ihre Sitzungen vor Ende April abzuhalten. Dieses Vorgehen zielt darauf ab, interne Probleme im Vorfeld breiterer Parteiaktivitäten anzugehen.
